    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing organization. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles who is looking to expand their experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.     Responsibilities:

    + Perform daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintenance of the general ledger.

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met.

    + Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy across financial records.

    + Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

    + Analyze accounting records and financial reports to identify variances or discrepancies.

    + Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and client invoicing.

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

    + Assist in audits by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation when needed.

    Requirements

    + 3+ years of accounting experience.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    + Strong understanding of accounting processes and principles.

    + Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other similar platforms.

    + Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

    + Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience in industries such as real estate, nonprofit, or manufacturing is a plus.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems or multi-entity accounting.

    + Background handling accounts payable and receivable for high-volume transactions.
