Associate Financial Planner

A boutique wealth management firm is seeking an intellectually curious and analytically driven Associate Financial Planner to join its team. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with a senior advisor recognized nationally for excellence in wealth management, and to build a long-term career in strategic financial planning.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is passionate about solving complex financial problems. You’ll begin at an apprentice level, learning the intricacies of financial planning for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, including senior executives and board members of public companies.

Key Responsibilities

Client Planning & Analysis

+ Prepare retirement, estate, education, and equity compensation analyses

+ Use eMoney to build and refine comprehensive financial plans

+ Analyze tax implications, insurance policies, and stock concentration strategies

+ Stay current on economic trends and tax law changes to inform client strategies

+ Coordinate pre-meeting prep including agendas, research, and implementation plans

Technology Platforms

+ eMoney (Financial Planning)

+ Charles Schwab (Custodian)

+ Redtail (CRM)

+ Orion (Reporting)

Compensation & Benefits

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of work experience; 3+ years in financial planning at an RIA

+ Bachelor’s degree required

+ CFP® certification preferred

+ Proficiency in eMoney and Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint a plus

+ Authorized to work in the U.S.
