Job Summary and Responsibilities

Step into a leadership role where every shift makes a difference. As Nurse Shift Manager at St. Bernardine Medical Center, you will coordinate and oversee nursing care on your assigned unit, guiding a dedicated team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

In this role, you will:

+ Supervise nursing staff during your shift, ensuring efficient patient assignments based on acuity and staff expertise

+ Assess care delivery, educate staff as needed, and initiate emergency procedures when necessary

+ Anticipate and respond to staffing needs proactively to maintain continuity of care

+ Ensure unit readiness by overseeing supply levels and documentation for seamless transitions between shifts

Job Requirements

+ Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.

+ Associate's Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN).

+ Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice

+ AHA-Basic Life Support (BLS), other credentials or credential modules may be required.

Pay Range

$50.39 - $76.21 /hour
