Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, technically proficient individual to lead and develop our maintenance department within a heavy manufacturing, foundry-type business. This role offers significant growth potential within the company.

Responsibilities

+ Lead a team of 12-18 technicians across 3 shifts, 7 days a week, to support plant operations and facilities.

+ Schedule, supervise, and ensure timely execution of projects and repairs.

+ Transfer knowledge of basic maintenance practices to crew and develop procedures for training support.

+ Execute preventative maintenance schedules.

+ Assist in planning and executing various plant projects, both large and small.

+ Manage vendors, contractors, equipment, and spare parts for the plant.

+ Report to the Plant Engineering & Maintenance Manager.

Essential Skills

+ Technical degree or certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.

+ 5-10 years of experience in welding and fabricating, refractory and furnace lining, electrical and electronic controls, combustion processes, and mobile equipment management.

+ Proficient in troubleshooting and programming electrical and electronic controls.

+ Strong leadership, planning, and people development skills.

+ Fluency in English and Spanish.

+ Proficient in MS Office and preventive maintenance systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Project management and capital projects experience.

+ Experience with data acquisition systems and software.

+ Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.

The role is set in a manufacturing environment, focusing on heavy industrial processes. It requires managing teams over multiple shifts and involves working with various technologies and systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and ventilation systems with significant horsepower.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of City Of Industry, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
