Job Title: Remote Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering. The role demands a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a preference for candidates who are Professional Engineers (P.E.). The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in CAD and Revit, proficiency in 3D modeling, and a solid understanding of engineering analysis tools. The position requires excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts, as well as strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities. In-depth knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and oversee multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
+ Design and implement Fire Life Safety systems.
+ Utilize Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems.
+ Conduct energy audits and participate in ASHRAE levels 1-3 auditing.
+ Engage in the design of renewable energy systems.
+ Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
+ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
+ Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
+ Proficiency in CAD and Revit.
+ Strong understanding of engineering analysis tools.
+ Effective communication of complex technical concepts.
+ Client management and relationship-building skills.
+ Knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Fire Life Safety system design.
+ Proficiency in Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems.
+ Auditing experience, ASHRAE levels 1-3.
+ Renewable energy design experience.
+ Proficiency in Revit, CEM, and Equest.
+ CxA certification is a plus.
Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to manage multiple projects. The role involves using advanced technologies such as CAD, Revit, and DDC systems. Candidates must be able to pass background and drug tests. The position may involve client site visits and engagement with various stakeholders.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
