    Job Description

    The Oracle PaaS Developer is a critical role within the business applications team at Mount Sinai. This role will work closely with internal team members and core business users to understand requirements and design, develop, and provide hands on support for integrations as well as PaaS extensions. This role must also be familiar with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with proven expertise in integrating Fusion HCM, ERP, and SCM modules. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience building and extending applications using both Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Visual Builder Studio as a Service (VBSaaS) to implement modern, Redwood-styled UIs.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + Bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline; master?s degree preferred.

    + Technical expertise in Oracle OIC, VBCS, PCS, BI, OTBI, FRS, DevOps & App composer etc. at an expert level.

    Experience:

    + 8+ years of experience using Oracle PaaS & Fusion ERP, HCM platform

    + 8+ years? experience reporting within Oracle Fusion Cloud, utilizing Oracle BI, OTBI, BICC, and/or FRS.

    + Extensive Knowledge of underlying database structure for Oracle Fusion Cloud

    + Strong experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) using FTP, SOAP, REST, FBDI, BIP Reports, SaaS, PaaS including experience with working on-premises integration and 3rd part applications to oracle cloud.

    + Experience with building at least one VBCS custom application development.

    + Integrating Oracle VBCS with cloud applications using OIC adapters required.

    + Experience with designing UX using Oracle VBCS is required.

    + Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Fusion HCM data models.

    + Experience working with APEX/ORDS services in ATP and PaaS to SaaS integrations.

    + Experience with the security framework on VBCS and its interaction with other applications

    ? Mediate and facilitate communications between others, and communicate architecture to all levels of management and customers

    Responsibilities

    + Architect, build, and maintain integration flows connecting Fusion HCM, ERP, and SCM with third-party and legacy systems using REST/SOAP, file-based interfaces, and prebuilt adapters.

    + Develop end to end Integrations and orchestrations, ensure connection security, error handling, and performance optimization.

    + Utilize VBCS to customize Fusion UIs, build data entry pages, dashboards, and embed custom apps into SaaS environments.

    + Use VBSaaS to develop standalone Redwood-based applications, manage full DevOps lifecycle including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and team collaboration.

    + Monitor integration executions, debug issues, tune performance, and ensure system reliability; manage OIC alerts and logs.

    + Maintain and update existing Oracle VBCS applications as needed.

    + Work with functional leads and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions; provide technical guidance.

    + Maintain clear documentation: integration designs, application specs, deployment instructions, and best-practice guidelines.

    + Responsible for mapping business processes to support applications, defining the data entities, selecting integration technology components and patterns, and designing the integration.

    + Provide hands-on development and configuration support for existing and future implementations of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (HCM, ERP, SCM, PPM etc.)

    + Develops innovations with business partnerships, enhancing operations and/or providing a competitive advantage to the organization. Acts as the primary technical resource and consultant, in their area of expertise, to senior client and IT management and staff.

    + Validates technology ability to meet business, performance, integration, and scalability requirements for each project.

    + Plays a critical role in the investigation of new technologies along with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Design and Consulting to provide development viability of architectural initiatives to meet medium to long term business needs.

    + Adjust product architecture as customers’ requirements, market conditions and technology evolve.

    + Establishes solutions architectural processes and standards to guide the rest of the development organization.

    + Partner with program managers and development teams on oversight for all requirements to formulate appropriate architecture required to provide system functionality, deciding when to advocate and when to compromise to arrive at mutually acceptable solutions.

    + Understands the long-term business objectives and proposes technology strategies to meet those objectives by introducing innovation through technology.

    + Works with the development team to translate software architecture into design.

    + Plays a leading role in the investigation of new technologies and architectural initiatives to meet medium-to-the-medium-to-long business needs.

    Compensation Statement

    Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $108664.98 - $202155 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
