    $150,058 to $204,296

    S ummary

     

    The Chief Scheduler will support MTA Construction and Development efforts related to project schedule control functions for complex capital projects throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible for effectively executing scheduling task s in coordination with project teams and stakeholders, ensuring that quality deliverables are completed promptly and efficiently and reflect applicable standards and guidelines.

    Responsibilities

    Develops scheduling standards and procedures for schedule management , including baselining, progress measurement, schedule quality analysis, change management, and contingency management.

     

    Provides overall direction and methodology to all scheduling personnel and ensures their compliance.

     

    Advises the COO in policy decisions relating to scheduling practices and procedures.

     

    Ensures all schedulers maintain scheduling standard s .

     

    Formulates the policy and directs the implementation, maintenance , and update of all computerized scheduling tools.

     

    Review the market to evaluate the latest computerized scheduling system and determine its applicability .

     

    Education and Experience

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.

     

    Must have a minimum of twenty (20) years of related experience .

     

    Must have a minimum of twelve (12) years in a management or supervisory role and/or project manager role in a large, multi-faceted organization.

    Competencies :

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     

    Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all internal organizational levels .

     

    Demonstrated ability to work in a high - profile, high - pressure environment effectively.

     

    Must have focus and ability to deliver results, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

     

    Must be a proven leader as a change agent and creative/innovative thinker with the ability to align business goals with solutions to drive process improvements.

     

    Must possess excellent team - building, listening, problem-solving , and prioritization skills.

     

    PMI-SP desirable.

     

    Alternative Delivery experience preferred.
