Job Description

Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. This role is in Field Engineering Electrical which primarily supports X35 for the LHA program.

Basic Qualifications

Associate's or other 2-year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience. HS Diploma/GED and 7 yeras of related experience. A combination of education and construction experience can be used in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Excellent verbal skills.

+ Competent in software (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Shipconstructor, ARAS and NavisWorks).

+ Familiar with ship specifications and a working knowledge of Machinery ship construction.

+ LHA 8 Design Experience preferred.

+ This job requires the physical ability to work in an industrial environment and work aboard the ships in various stages of construction.
