About the job

As an Assembly Mechanic Trainee, you'll play a hands-on role supporting our Tank Cleaning Production Department. This position is essential in helping us deliver high-quality new tank cleaning equipment and repair services. You'll learn and grow as part of a collaborative team while contributing to both new product assembly and repair operations.

As part of the team, you will:

+ Disassemble and clean incoming equipment for repairs.

+ Inspect and replace worn parts as needed.

+ Document repair work and complete required reports.

+ Assemble and test new tank cleaning machines according to product standards.

+ Conduct performance tests on repaired and new units.

+ Package and prepare equipment and spare parts for shipping.

+ Assist with inventory by picking and stocking parts.

+ Follow production work orders and meet productivity targets.

+ Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including routine cleaning tasks.

What you know:

You have a High School Diploma or equivalency, and:

+ Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Previous experience requiring a mechanical skillset, such as small engine repair or assembly is highly preferred.

+ Knowledge and experience with hand tools (ex: ratchets, socket wrenches, screw drivers etc.).

+ Forklift experience is a plus.

+ Basic computer skills for completing reports and documentation.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
