Job Overview

Performs basic activities to assist in the safe operation and repair of assigned high-speed large-scale automated assembly machines.

Job Requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION: The description below covers the most significant duties performed but does not exclude other work assignments not mentioned, the inclusion of which would be in conformity with the requirements assigned to this job, or jobs of lesser requirements.

+ Performs diversified soldering operation, including, but not limited to, torch and iron soldering.

+ Perform diversified assembly on a variety of products. This involves a considerable number of parts, close tolerances, and interrelated factors. Requires use of hand and power tools

+ Perform potting and encapsulation operations.

+ Must be able to read blueprints and utilize a wide variety of measurement instruments to check parts to verify compliance to quality specifications.

+ Be able to read schematics.

+ Be able to operate in a team environment with work sharing, team problem solving, and team acceptance of responsibility. Train other employees as needed.

+ Operate all equipment required to assemble a variety of products.

+ Finish relays with nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, touch up paint etc. and perform packing and shipping duties.

What your background should look like

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

+ Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance.

+ Minimum of 2 yearsof hands-on manufacturing experience in soldering.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics accurately.

+ ESD training completed per OP 1707; solder certification per OP 1701 is preferred.

+ Proficient in the safe and correct use of measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $42,057 - $44,824 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
