    Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data infrastructure sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician II / Mid-Level (Mount Pleasant, WI) ONSITE to join their team. As a Data Center Technician II / Mid-Level (Mount Pleasant, WI) ONSITE, you will be part of the Data Center Operations supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring seamless data management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Data Center Technician II / Mid-Level (Mount Pleasant, WI) ONSITE

    **Location:** Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin

    **Pay Range:** $35-40/Hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead equipment deployment including racking, cabling, power connections, and network & storage setup

    + Diagnose and repair hardware failures such as servers, switches, power modules, and storage arrays

    + Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective maintenance to prevent future issues

    + Manage environmental control systems, including thermal, airflow, and humidity in coordination with facilities teams

    + Collaborate with change management processes and coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + At least 2 years of hands-on experience in data center, telecom, or critical environment settings

    + Proficiency in hardware diagnostics, component-level repair, and firmware upgrades

    + Experience with structured cabling, including fiber and copper connections

    + Knowledge of UPS systems, PDUs, power distribution, backup generators, and basic electrical systems

    + Strong documentation skills, process discipline, and escalation awareness
