Patient Scheduler - Kadlec Regional Medical Center - Richland, WA

Under the direction of the Patient Access/Central Scheduling Coordinator & Manager, Patient Access/Central Scheduling Representative- Level II, verifies orders, schedules, and registers, verifies insurance coverage and benefits, creates estimates, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements; Participates in the collection of up-front revenue due to the facility; Provides quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Shift Available:

+ Full time, Variable Shift, 40 working hours weekly

Required Qualifications:

+ 2 years general office experience with public interaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Coursework/Training: Courses in medical terminology

+ Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience.

+ Medical setting experience.
