    The Division of Child Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board-certified neurologist to join the Department as Clinical Assistant Professor in the **Clinician Educator Line** .

     

    The major criterion for appointment in the **Clinician Educator Line** is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

     

    **QUALIFICATIONS** :

     

    The successful applicant should have an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree, board certification & residency in Child Neurology. Candidates from a broad array of backgrounds will be considered. Fellowship training in either neuro-immunology or neuro-oncology is desired but not required. Child neurologists with critical care fellowship training or general child neurologists with extensive experience in the **management of neuro-inflammation & immunotherapy in the central nervous system (CNS)** will also be considered.

     

    This position will have responsibilities split between time on the neuro-immuno-oncology (NIO) service and the faculty members other area of expertise (neuroimmunology, neuro-oncology, critical care, or general child neurology). Time on the NIO service will be spent caring for patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, providing clinical care for children and young adults with CNS cancers or neuroinflammatory disorders receiving CAR T cell therapy and children with non-CNS cancers who have neurological complications of CAR T cell therapy; participating in clinical research endeavors focused on immunotherapy for CNS tumors or neuroinflammatory disorders; and educating clinical fellows and residents. Time spent in the other areas of expertise will be a mix of inpatient and outpatient child neurology focused in their area of specialty interest if applicable. The position is based in the Division of Child Neurology, and will work in a team setting, bridging neurology, neuro-oncology, pediatric oncology, neuroimmunology, critical care, and neurosurgery.

    Clinical Assistant Professor: $251,000 - $269,000
