    Qualifications

    Reports to the SVP, Chief Revenue Officer. The Director of Business Operations and Special Projects will be the leader of the Revenue Cycle Administration team. This role involves overseeing budget management for Revenue Cycle, manages projects that influence revenue cycle processes and outcomes, and providing administrative and project management support to the SVP.

     

    • Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team, driving them towards achieving organizational goals.

    • Strategic Thinking: Capability to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance revenue cycle performance.

    • Project Management: Expertise in managing complex revenue cycle projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

    • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.

    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.

    • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.

    • Compliance: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards affecting the revenue cycle.

    • Process optimization: Refine billing and coding workflows, patient registration, insurance verification, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable collections to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

    • Team leadership and management: Manages the Revenue Cycle Administration team, ensuring alignment with Revenue Cycle goals and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

    • Technology and systems management: Oversee the utilization and enhancement of revenue cycle management software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and other technologies to improve workflow efficiency and promote standardized processes.

    • Oversight and implementation of special projects as assigned (including but not limited): process improvement, new software/system, AI, Revenue Cycle roadmap implementation, contract negotiation and management, addressing compliance changes, etc.

    • Provide administrative support to the SVP of Revenue cycle on report preparation and analysis, communications and correspondence, meeting coordination and support, and other administrative duties as assigned

    Experience:

    Required: 5 years Revenue Cycle Management, business operations, project management, or similar leadership level role.

    Licensure/Certification:

    Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Lean Six Sigma Certification

     

    Additional Skills/Requirements (required) • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis

    Education

    Required: 2 Year / Associate Degree Required Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or similar area of study.

     

    Preferred: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Preferred Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare
