**Job Title:** Boiler Operator
**Location:** Somerset, NJ
**Pay Rate:** $35 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Boiler Operator to join our team in Somerset, NJ. The Boiler Operator will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of high-pressure boilers in accordance with state and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and related equipment.
+ Monitor boiler operations, maintain accurate logs, and perform routine inspections.
+ Adjust controls to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and safety.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
+ Test water quality and add chemicals according to safety guidelines.
+ Respond to emergencies or breakdowns promptly and efficiently.
+ Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
+ Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams as necessary.
Requirements:
+ High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
+ Valid state Blue Seal Boiler License.
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
+ Excellent attention to detail.
+ Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as required.
