Key Tasks

TheSourcing Manageris responsible for a category or several sub-categories. That includes implement and drive category strategy, targets and KPI, securing a category supplier base that supports Permobil current & future business needs (BU & PU). By doing so, steering business awards to ASL suppliers, managing risk, cost and demands, whilst securing quality and compliance. The role also includes category management, strategy direction and value creation to deliver stakeholder and business satisfaction. Spend control and market analyses to drive cost reduction and value creation is part of the responsibility. The Sourcing Manager is responsibility is to ensure efficient management of suppliers, governing and developing supplier relationships in accordance with the Supplier Relationship Management framework and supplier segmentation. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for supplier partnership and supplier agreements. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for all commercial relationship with suppliers meaning having the responsibility for the overall business towards the suppliers. Through efficient sourcing of products, services and solutions, the Sourcing Manager shall strengthen Permobils competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks and contributing to the creation of value for the customer/user. The Sourcing Manager is accountable for evaluating, qualifying and selecting suppliers for the external purchase and licensing of all products and services.xt

Your Background

Education:

* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business or economics and/or; equivalent work experience from strategic sourcing, supply chain or similar positions

Professional education through accrediting organizations and/or equivalent work experience in:

* Certified purchaser

* Legal awareness

* Business negotiation

* Supplier evaluation/auditing and supplier development

* Lean production

* Supply chain management and logistics

* Quality systems and control

* Supplier relationship management

* Risk management

* Category management

* Excellent knowledge of and background in end to end supply chain

* Good knowledge in business analysis (such as cost drivers and cost break down analysis)

* Excellent knowledge in business negotiations and contract management (including agreement writing)

* Good understanding of lean concept and lean production

* Good engineering and/or techincal understanding, including quality, logistics and production engineering

* IS/IT system knowledg
