BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Mental Health Technician I** to join our outstanding and compassionate team!

Mental Health Technician II Position Details:

+ **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Asa Residential and Crc South-BH

+ **Location:** Behavioral Health Academy Bldg

+ **Status:** Full Time, Exempt: No

+ **Shift Hours:** 8 hours

+ **Weekend Work:** Every

+ **On Call:** No

The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:

+ Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

+ Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

+ Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

+ Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Required Certification/Licensures:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred

+ Patient Care Technician - preferred

Required Education:

+ High School Graduate or Equivalent GED

Required Experience:

+ **Nonessential:** Healthcare
