Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will analyze, organize, and administer various logistics support functions You will manage assigned projects with responsibility for project, schedule and compliance. You will provide oversight in, conducting receipt inspections, acceptance and delivery of purchased materials and equipment to customers and entry of status/location into Logistics Inventory Control and Spares System (LICSS). You will consult with supervisory personnel regarding warehouse management and implement protocols to ensure ease of access to conduct required inventories, safety of movement for equipment/personnel and secure storage of all spares/supplies. You will handle Purchase Requests at various stages of processing and will relate all the functions and processes of the division to gather and present meaningful information for decision-making. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes are restricted to no more than 2 pages. Illegible/unreadable resumes will not be considered. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5/10 grade level or NO-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and presenting statistical data and narrative information relating to quality control and performance improvement; 2) Utilizing automated supply systems for inventory control and records management; and 3) Communicating effectively orally and in written form. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related Additional Information The position often requires irregular hours. This position requires evening and weekend work. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
