As a DSP Success Coach at Arc of Onondaga, you will play a vital role in the development of newly hired Direct Support staff, ensuring they transition smoothly into their new positions. Your expertise will guide these professionals through their initial months, providing personalized on-site training tailored to their unique challenges and work environments. By offering continuous support and guidance, you will help them build confidence and competence in their roles, fostering both their professional growth and the overall quality of care provided to the individuals we serve.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

+ Valid NYS Driver's License

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

+ NADSP certification (level 3 preferred)

+ Combination of education and experience which in the judgement of the employer equals above standards
