    Summary:

    The position of Mechanic will report directly to the Mechanic/Tool Room Lead and will work cooperatively with other team members to provide quality products to our customers in a timely, cost-efficient manner following all policies, procedures and protocols. This individual will communicate with team members as well as the Mechanic/Tool Room Lead daily.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Provide complete, high level customer products/service and support for customers and other branch facilities.

    + Process requests of Mechanic/Tool Room Lead in an accurate and timely manner.

    + Diagnose departmental issues and communicate issues with Mechanic/Tool Room Lead.

    + Stay up to date on all procedure or process changes and utilize appropriate tools to improve process efficiency.

    + Provide high quality workmanship.

    Education and Experience:

    + Must have multiple and relevant experience at repairing simple tools.

    + Proficient in of RubberTesting.net.

    + Strong understanding of hydraulic and battery tools.

    + Ability to work without oversight and guidance while maintaining a high-quality standard.

    + Experience working in a results-oriented, team environment.

    + Exceptional time management skills.

    + Ability to enter data into computer or tablet.

    + The person in this position frequently communicates with others who have operational inquiries.

    + Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

    + Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

    + Dexterity required to utilize power tools, and other tools required to do the job.

    + Ability to work in a safe environment and respect those around you.

    + Must be able to observe and interpret operational data.

    + Ability to learn technical material.

    + Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance.

    + Ability to perform responsibilities at the designated site for designated hours as assigned, excluding holidays and PTO.
