    + As a Recruitment Marketing Event specialist/sr. specialist, your focus will be on coordinating events and engagement activities that support pipeline growth, brand awareness, and relationship-building. You’ll assist in managing all aspects of the event lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-event analysis for American-led, customer-led, and industry events.

    + The ideal candidate should have a background in marketing, an understanding of event planning and execution, and a passion for delivering high-quality experiences. You should also be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, organizing projects, and supporting multiple stakeholders to help meet event goals.

    + This position report to the Team Lead, Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand and is part of our Global Aviation Recruiting Team.

    What you'll do

    + Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to plan and deliver impactful event experiences – spanning trade shows, expos, career fairs, and meet & greets – that elevate the candidate experience and strengthen employer brand perception

    + Manage multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines effectively, efficiently, and independently

    + Take ownership of tasks or projects, offer creative solutions to potential issues, and proactively communicate next steps and timelines

    + Assist in the development, logistics, and execution of event marketing strategies

    + Collaborate with internal teams to align event plan and activities with business objectives

    + Support negotiations and coordinate sponsorships with external partners

    + Manage project timelines, touchpoints, and budgets to ensure smooth execution of event

    + Lead strategic event design, branding, all AV, F&B, accommodations and transportation for event attendees

    + Support the creation and distribution of event communications, such as landing pages, Know Before You Go documents, and social media posts

    + Overseeing registration, invitation lists and responses, and confirmation communications.

    + Deliver onsite management of meetings, events and engagement opportunities

    + Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of volunteers, onsite staff, and vendors as required, to successfully execute all aspects of the event

     

    All you'll need for success

    Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Undergraduate degree in marketing and communications or experience/training

    + 3 years of experience in trade shows, strategic event planning, or in an equivalent role

    Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + 5 years of experience in trade shows, strategic event planning, or in an equivalent role

    + Excellent knowledge of and hands-on experience with all aspects of event management and logistics

    Skills, Licenses & Certifications

    + Must be able to travel and work extended hours as necessary including weekends

    + Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)

    + Excellent written and verbal communication, project management and presentation skills

    + Able to work collaboratively, as well as independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while driving strategic decisions, process changes and business initiatives

    + Polished professional presence, and discretion in handling confidential information

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking, re-prioritizing projects, and communication priority updates to stakeholders

    + Makes a positive impact on team members, maintains a positive, can-do attitude and adapts quickly to changes
