    + ​This job is a member of the Revenue Accounting Team within the Finance Division.

    + As a Revenue Accounting Data and Analysis Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

    + Daily monitoring of the data and processes that create, load, and distribute the AA sales data and the flown ticket lift data.

    + Working with end-users of this data across the company to answer questions, address concerns and coordinate enhancements.

    + Reporting on and analyzing the Sales and Flown data for Revenue Accounting and other departments.

    + Identifying issues, proposing solutions, and coordinating/contributing to the implementation of proposed solutions.

    What you'll do

    + Daily monitoring and reporting on the timeliness and accuracy of Sales data and Flown ticket lift data. This monitoring includes a variety of tests on the reasonableness of data and often includes exhaustive analysis on outliers and possible data issues.

    + On-going analysis and advice on departmental changes, company initiatives and industry mandates.

    + Communication with end-users of Revenue Accounting data regarding questions/ concerns about Revenue Accounting data/projects.

    + Work as advisor and technical support for Revenue Accounting end-users on existing (Cognos, Excel, Power BI, Azure Databricks, etc.) reports.

    + Work as advisor, technical support, and liaison with development team when other groups in Revenue Accounting are developing new reports.

    + Work with Protiviti and KPMG teams to ensure SOX compliance of applications when required.

    + Develops dashboards and reports to summarize and communicate operational metrics.

     

    All you'll need for success

    Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training

    + 3 years related work experience in similar field/position

    Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Master's or other Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

    Skills, Licenses & Certifications

    + Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

    + Experience with SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence tools is strongly preferred.

    + Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects, prioritizes opportunities, and take initiative towards achieving common goal.

    + Ability to work in a team environment as well as be successful independently.

    + Able to build relationships and interact productively with various departments and all levels of management.

    + Thorough understanding of company Financial and Accounting data preferred.

    + Self-starter with strong quantitative and planning skills required.

    + Ability to independently identify issues, conduct research, analyze data, and propose solutions.

    + Outstanding interpersonal skills - for building relationships and working successfully with business partners, technical teams, and all levels of management.

    + Must have the ability to understand and explain complex systems and be effective working as a liaison between technical and non-technical groups.

    + The successful applicant will have an aptitude for problem identification and resolution including securing inter-departmental and intra-departmental cooperation.

    + Capable of effectively working with people of varying backgrounds and levels.

    + Significant and demonstrated analytical ability. Must be able to independently identify a problem area, sift through multiple data sources and develop a sound analysis framework and present resulting recommendations to senior management.
