The Darden School of Business (https://www.darden.virginia.edu/) at the University of Virginia (https://www.virginia.edu/) invites applications for a faculty position in Business Ethics beginning in Fall 2026 to teach Business Ethics and related subjects to MBA and Executive level audiences.
The Darden School values rigorous and original research, student-centered learning experiences, excellence in curriculum development, and advancing thought leadership in business practice or public policy. Candidates may apply as either Tenure-Track (TT) or Academic General Faculty (AGF).
Current faculty in our area teaching Business Ethics related courses include R. Edward Freeman, Toni Irving, Jared Harris, Lauren Kaufmann, Adrian Keevil, Bidhan (Bobby) Parmar, and Robert Phillips. At Darden, Business Ethics is part of the Strategy, Ethics, and Entrepreneurship (SEE) area. Applicants for a TT position are expected to have a doctorate in Management, Organizational Behavior, Sociology, Strategy, Social Psychology, Philosophy, or a related field by the start of the 2026-27 academic year. In addition, competitive candidates will show evidence research excellence - including potential for top-tier publications - and evidence of instructional success.
