    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    Are you a meticulous, customer-focused individual seeking a crucial role in patient diagnostics? Join our essential laboratory team as a Lab Assistant / Phlebotomist!

     

    You'll be at the heart of our operations, primarily in specimen processing and intake, ensuring the swift and accurate handling of vital samples to support patient care.

    You will:

    + **Specimen Management:** Process, organize, and quickly move samples for testing; handle all lab send-out testing including packaging.

    + **Patient Focus:** Practice positive patient identification; demonstrate HumanKindness and good communication skills.

    + **Teamwork:** Take responsibility for workflow and foster collaboration.

    + **Phlebotomy (if applicable):** Perform venous and capillary punctures on all age groups, following collection procedures. May assist with training.

    + **Testing (if regulated):** Perform CLIA waived and moderately complex testing, evaluating results under direction.

    + **Operational Support:** Perform routine maintenance, monitor inventory, stock supplies, and manage records.

    **Shift:** Casual Part-Time, Varied

    Job Requirements

    What You'll Bring:

    + Meticulous Attention to Detail: Precision in sample handling and data.

    + Excellent Customer Service: Clear and kind communication.

    + High School Diploma/GED.

    + BLS-CPR within 90 days.

    + Preferred: Lab Assistant/Phlebotomy certification, 6 months acute care experience.

    Pay Range

    $18.06 - $25.51 /hour
