    Position Summary

    The Parker Hannifin Corporate Summer Internship Program was established in 1978 to identify and develop college students who show promise of being productive Parker employees by providing real-world experience in disciplines crucial to Parker's business. As an intern, you will gain experience while supporting the department's function. We seek interns who will make meaningful contributions in support of our service to our customers and the company's Win Strategy.

     

    The Ideal candidate for this program is able to work full-time during the summer (2026) and part-time during the school year (2026-27) from the Corporate Headquarters in Mayfield Heights, OH.

    Essential Functions

    + Assist with freight payment company to pay freight bills and improve processes.

    + Procurement and/or logistics for Parker plants/divisions.

    + Acquire skills to produce maximum profit and provide quality service.

    + Develop insights to supply chain management including procurement forecasting, order entry, processing, inventory control, and logistics while learning Parker's Lean System.

    Past Supply Chain/Logistics Projects have included:

    + Review, approve, and process purchase orders.

    + Set up new suppliers and supplier maintenance.

    + Organize and determine a best method of transportation for frequent lanes of transportation.

    + Analyze and record the efficiency rates of the Less-than-Truckload providers

    + Update addresses, authorization list, and supplier payment terms in requisition system.

    Qualifications

    + This is an in-person opportunity. Must reside within 25 miles of Mayfield Heights, OH during the school year and during the summer. Able to start May-June of 2026.

    + Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a specialization or concentration in Supply Chain Management or Logistics at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States.

    + Have completed at least one year of college.

    + Cumulative GPA of at least 2.7.

    + Have completed courses in Supply Chain Management.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation.
