    Overview

This editorial intern role supports two award-winning and mission-driven children’s book imprints, Quill Tree Books and Greenwillow Books. Interns will have an invaluable opportunity to learn about the book publishing process for titles in a wide range of genres and age groups, and will shadow passionate editors who are committed to bringing many different stories and voices to life.

Since its inception in 1974, Greenwillow Books has been publishing books for children of every age. At the heart of each book there is honesty, emotion, and depth—conveyed by an author or an artist who has something that is worth saying to children and who says it in a way that is worth reading.

Quill Tree Books publishes literary books with wide appeal for children and teens, from award-winning and bestselling frontlist to an evergreen backlist of books from beloved authors. The group’s mission is to provide a platform for creators with a strong point of view, including those with underrepresented, authentic voices.
