    Job Description Summary

    The Lead Digital Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog.

     

    The Lead Digital Product Owner will work directly with the product and development team responsible for building and maintaining an CenterWell’s integrated health digital website, including unauthenticated and authenticated experiences. The website is in its innovative stage enabling users to understand, adopt and manage their needs across the three service areas – pharmacy, primary care, and home health.

     

    The Lead Digital Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. This specific Product Owner will need a moderate level of API understanding to help guide the team through development.

     

    The Lead Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, andworks under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

    Job Description

    The Lead Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team and will serve as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

     

    Collaborating with key stakeholders to anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements

     

    Partnering with Engineering to defining the vision for this specific API development team

     

    Creating a product road map based on the aligned vision

     

    Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements

     

    Partnering with the product managers in overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development

     

    Developing user stories and leading grooming sessions to ensure requirements are met and signed off on.

     

    Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process

     

    Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates

     

    Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints

     

    Reviewing key performance metrics on a regular cadence to ensure API products are performing at an acceptable level and identifying if improvements are needed.

     

    Accepting user stories before releasing to ensure the final product is meeting all requirements defined in the Acceptance Criteria.

     

    Use your skills to make an impact

     

    Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of technical experience, or equivalent and 2+ years of project leadership experience

     

    Digital Website Experience a requirement

     

    Product Management experience a requirement, SAFE or SCRUM preferred.

     

    Healthcare experience strongly preferred, or large/regulatory experience.

     

    Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

    Pay Range

     

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

     

    $115,200 - $158,400 per year

     

    This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
