• Senior Accountant

    Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department, supporting both domestic and international accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a quick learner of systems and processes, and be an effective communicator, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Senior Accountant

    **Location:** Buffalo, NY (Hybrid)

    **Pay Range:** $35-45/hour

    **Duration:** 12-18 months

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Prepare and record journal entries in SAP

    + Reconcile balance sheet accounts and generate supporting reports

    + Support month-end close and financial statement preparation

    + Assist with internal and external audits

    + Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial processes and reporting

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA/CA preferred)

    + 5–10 years of experience in technical accounting roles

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with multinational entities

    + Proficiency in SAP ECC/S4HANA, OneStream, and Excel (advanced)

    + Experience with intercompany accounting, consolidations, and financial analysis
