Position Summary:

New York Edge is seeking a qualified and highly motivated HR Recruitment Specialist to support our organizational hiring needs. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet staffing demands across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now as an ATS and familiarity with Salesforce is strongly preferred.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Essential Job Functions:

+ Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting through candidate onboarding.

+ Search resume databases and proactively source candidates through multiple recruitment channels.

+ Communicate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies.

+ Draft, proofread, and update job descriptions in collaboration with HR and program leadership.

+ Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage requisitions, candidates, and offer letters.

+ (Preferred) Support reporting and workflow integration using Salesforce.

+ Review and evaluate applicants to ensure alignment with position requirements.

+ Interview candidates while ensuring compliance with New York Edge policies and labor regulations.

+ Adhere to all laws, rules, and personal data privacy regulations.

+ Recommend new sources for both active and passive candidate recruiting.

+ Provide weekly reports on recruitment activity, progress, and pipeline health.

Required Skills:

+ Strong passion for HR and Talent Acquisition practices.

+ Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now ATS required.

+ Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.

+ Ability to effectively scan and assess large volumes of resumes.

+ Understanding of recruitment marketing and candidate engagement strategies.

+ Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

+ Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to collaboration.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.

+ Minimum of two years of recruitment or HR experience.
