Job Summary and Responsibilities

Dignity Health Medical Group – Merced, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a **full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist** to join our growing, physician-led, and **mission-driven** medical group in the heart of California's Central Valley. This is a unique opportunity to provide **both outpatient and inpatient care** while helping to design and develop a **Gastroenterology service line** within a highly collaborative environment.

Opportunity Highlights:

+ **Full-time Gastroenterology Position** : Join a **supportive and collegial** practice with opportunities to shape the GI service line.

+ **General GI Practice** : Diagnose and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including those affecting the **esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, and colon** .

+ **Procedures & Screenings** : Regular involvement in **endoscopies** and **GI screenings** , along with diagnosing and managing complex GI disorders.

+ **Subspecialty Development** : Opportunity to develop interests in GI subspecialties based on your career goals. **Collaborative Care Team** : Work alongside a **dedicated team of primary care and specialty providers** with a strong referral network.

Compensation & Benefits:

+ **Competitive Compensation** : Salary range of **$600K - $650K** annually + productivity-based incentives.

Job Requirements

+ **MD or DO** degree with **Board Certification** or **Eligibility in Gastroenterology** .

+ **ERCP** skills preferred but not required.

+ **Active California medical license** (or ability to obtain) and DEA registration.

+ Strong **clinical and communication skills** with a commitment to **team-based care** .

Pay Range

$288.46 - $312.50 /hour
