    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic nonprofit team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting our mission-driven work, and fostering an organized and collaborative environment. The right candidate will play a crucial role by managing administrative tasks, assisting leadership, and providing first-class organizational support.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform general administrative tasks, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling phone and email correspondence.

    + Act as the first point of contact for inquiries, providing excellent communication and customer service.

    + Prepare and format reports, presentations, and other documentation for staff or board meetings.

    + Maintain organizational records, databases, and files while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

    + Support fundraising, donor management, or event coordination efforts as needed.

    + Assist with onboarding and communication processes for volunteers and staff.

    + Data entry of invoices, expense reports, and maintain budgets in collaboration with the finance team.

    + Order and maintain office supplies or technology inventory.

    + Handle other tasks and projects as assigned by leadership to support nonprofit goals and operations.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma (required). Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred).

    + Relevant experience in an administrative support role, ideally in a nonprofit setting.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace). Experience managing systems such as donor software or volunteer tracking platforms is a plus.

    + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including a professional phone etiquette.

    + Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize projects, and maintain excellent attention to detail.

    + A team player with a positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.

    + Willingness to assist with occasional after-hours events or special projects as needed.

    + Commitment to advancing organizational values and community impact.
