    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in creating intuitive and accessible web interfaces while ensuring high performance and seamless user experiences. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of reusable components, implement accessibility standards, and optimize digital touchpoints.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop responsive web interfaces using JavaScript and Astro.js to deliver exceptional user experiences.

    • Build and maintain modular, reusable components that adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.

    • Work closely with designers and marketers to transform wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing interfaces.

    • Incorporate best practices in web development, including performance optimization and structured data implementation.

    • Ensure all web properties meet accessibility standards, including compliance with guidelines.

    • Optimize websites for cross-browser compatibility and improve accessibility through semantic HTML and proper roles.

    • Manage and enhance the component library to ensure scalability and consistency across projects.

    • Provide technical support and share expertise with internal teams to foster a collaborative environment.

    • Stay updated on emerging technologies, UI/UX trends, and web standards to continuously improve development processes.

    • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and experience with modern frameworks.

    • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices for creating accessible web interfaces.

    • Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD and experience in UI/UX design principles.

    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD workflows.

    • Knowledge of component-based architecture and design systems.

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent relevant experience.

    • At least 3 years of front-end web development experience, with hands-on expertise in Astro.js or similar tools.
