    Things You’ll Do

     

    + Diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment; perform major engine and transmission repairs and replacements as well as electrical diagnosis.

    + Perform major electrical repairs (including electronic controls), minor welding repairs, engine and transmission repairs and replacements, as well as equipment and plant maintenance repairs.

    + Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

    + Perform electrical diagnostics, welding repairs, equipment and plant maintenance, and more.

    + Respond to field service calls and perform on-site repairs as needed.

    + Maintain tools as required to perform job (we'll provide you with a tool allowance and cell phone stipend).

    + Ensure a safe, clean, and health-conscious work environment at all times.

    Requirements

    + At least 1 year experience as a field mechanic and 2-4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic.

    + Valid CDL

    + Must be able to obtain department of transportation (DOT) medical card.

    + Machining experience (lathe, mill, line boring ,or similar equipment) strongly preferred.

    + Solid background in diesel systems, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently in the field.

    + Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

    + Commitment to safety, reliability, and high-quality work.

    + Clean driving record.

    + Ability to move at least 50 pounds.
