    **Pay:** $23 - 25.6/hr Depending on background and education

    Position Overview

    The primary responsibility of this role is to operate general manufacturing equipment under close supervision in compliance with cGMP standards, quality guidelines, and safety procedures. The position supports the production of Flublok Drug Substance, focusing on media, buffer, and solution preparation within the commercial manufacturing facility.

     

    The role requires strong documentation practices, attention to detail, and proficiency with aseptic techniques. Responsibilities include the operation, maintenance, cleaning, and sanitization of media and buffer equipment (e.g., stainless steel mix tanks, transfer lines, standalone mixing units, and WFI points of use), as well as workspace and biosafety cabinet preparation. The incumbent will also assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and cross-functional training as business needs evolve.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Execute media, buffer, and solution formulation, including:

    + Equipment preparation (CIP/SIP)

    + Raw material/component handling (FIFO), weighing, and dispensing

    + Material sampling for analytical testing

    + Filter integrity testing

    + Operate and maintain ancillary equipment (e.g., pH/conductivity meters, osmometers, tube welders/sealers, peristaltic pumps).

    + Apply aseptic techniques and perform changeovers for biosafety cabinets and related equipment.

    + Ensure compliance with GDP during execution and review of production records.

    + Support troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing quality issues.

    + Maintain required cGMP training, including assigned supplemental training.

    + Participate in routine cleaning and sanitization of the cGMP facility in alignment with SOPs.

    + Follow established material, personnel, and equipment flow protocols.

    + Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.

    + Collaborate with Compliance to report deviations and support CAPA investigations.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment or equivalent training.

    + Working knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and SOPs.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Familiarity with the Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS) is a plus, but not required.

    **Pay Details:** $23.00 to $25.60 per hour
