Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated **Accountant I** to join our finance team. This role is responsible for performing general accounting functions, maintaining financial records, and supporting accurate reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform general accounting functions within the finance department.
+ Maintain and reconcile financial records in compliance with policy and regulatory standards.
+ Safeguard cash, checks, receivables, and payables.
+ Analyze data for accuracy and integrity, reviewing critical financial information.
+ Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
+ Support financial reporting, audits, and other departmental initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
+ 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
+ Experience with personal computers, spreadsheets, and Windows-based applications.
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work under time pressures and meet measurable standards.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills.
+ Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Work Schedule
+ Remote position.
+ Day shift, Monday–Friday.
+ Overtime and weekend work may be required occasionally.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to sit for extended periods and use hands/fingers for computer and clerical work.
+ Occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or repetitive motion.
+ Close and distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition for reviewing documents and reports.
**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
