We are seeking a skilled and strategic **Logistics Manager** to lead our procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring materials and services are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
Position Summary
The Logistics Manager plays a critical role in managing the procurement of materials, supplies, and services to meet the company’s operational needs. This position oversees purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory control, and logistics functions, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead procurement activities and provide functional direction to purchasing and logistics staff.
+ Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers.
+ Implement and manage a global 3-bid system to increase supplier diversity.
+ Oversee daily order entry, receipt tracking, and staff delegation.
+ Forecast and report on non-ACP, MRO, and raw material “B” and “C” items.
+ Monitor departmental budgets and prepare strategic projections.
+ Manage inventory control, inspections, cycle counts, and material movement.
+ Ensure compliance with commercial, administrative, and legal procurement processes.
+ Develop and execute long-term strategic procurement plans.
+ Support selection and procurement of direct/indirect materials and services.
+ Guide departmental operations and expedite deliveries as needed.
+ Facilitate communication between suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams, and customers.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
+ Proven experience in logistics, purchasing, procurement, and supply chain management.
+ Strong knowledge of resource management in made-to-order, low-volume, high-complexity production environments.
+ Excellent scheduling and organizational skills.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
+ Ability to mentor and train team members on new systems and techniques.
+ Strategic thinking with the ability to manage a fast-paced, evolving environment.
+ Proficiency in warehouse management and data entry systems.
+ Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
