Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Concrete Laborer to join our production team. As a leader in the architectural precast industry, we provide a range of products including architectural panels, custom architectural fabrication, and design/build consultation. Join us to enhance your skills and contribute to our high-quality production processes.

Responsibilities

+ Work under the direct supervision of a crew leader to learn essential skills.

+ Set up and oil forms, measure surfaces and panels, lay mesh, and tie reinforcing bars.

+ Engage in striking off, stripping forms, and cleaning up.

+ Show consistent improvement in work performance and take initiative to stay productive.

+ Inform the Crew Leader of availability for additional tasks.

+ Adhere to company policies by coming to work regularly and punctually.

+ Demonstrate loyalty, mutual respect, and function as a team player.

+ Maintain plant safety according to company safety guidelines.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with hand tools, concrete handling, assembly, cleaning, and general labor.

+ Experience in panel building and assembly.

+ Ability to use a tape measure and perform construction-related tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ year of previous concrete experience.

+ Ability to work on your feet for 50+ hours a week.

+ Capability to consistently produce quality products.

+ Understanding of basic geometry concepts.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial environment, often exposed to the elements when accessing materials or panels. The environment can be dusty and dirty, and involves working with heavy equipment alongside 20 other panel builders.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corsicana, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
