Job Title: Receiver

Job Description

Join a fourth-generation family-owned business in their main distribution center, supporting 94 retail locations throughout the Midwest. As a Receiver, you will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations, ensuring inventory is accurately tracked and orders are efficiently processed.

Responsibilities

+ Inspect and store received materials in the warehouse.

+ Utilize an RF scanner to accurately track inventory.

+ Pull and prepare orders for shipment on a daily basis.

+ Stock and palletize orders according to work orders.

+ Use shrink wrap to secure loaded pallets for shipping.

+ Collaborate with forklift operators to move materials as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using a forklift and RF scanner.

+ Experience with inventory management and material handling.

+ Ability to operate a pallet jack and perform order picking.

+ Minimum 6 months of previous manual labor experience.

+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with warehouse production processes.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving operations.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious, multi-level distribution warehouse. While the warehouse is equipped with fans, be prepared for warmer temperatures in the summer. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6am to 4:30pm. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes and no offensive clothing; t-shirts and shorts are permitted when it's hot.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SIOUX CITY, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
