Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

As a Production Technician, you will perform all production tasks necessary to build, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex, large-scale inspection systems. You will ensure that components and sub-systems such as robotic handling systems, multi-axis motion control systems, electric wiring harnesses, control and monitoring systems, and plumbing sub-systems are integrated and function seamlessly. Your role will also involve working with Sonix Scanning Acoustic Microscopes, and you will contribute to production schedules and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to semiconductor equipment, including robotics, linear motion, pneumatics, vacuum systems, controls, and signal processing.

+ Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.

+ Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement improvements.

+ Help maintain and improve existing training documentation for future technicians.

+ Perform production tasks such as crating and uncrating sensitive electronic machinery, mechanical and electrical system assembly, and basic documentation.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

+ Strong collaboration and communication skills.

+ Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and with inspection equipment.

+ Knowledge of assembly line operations, hand tools, and control systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Project management experience.

+ Ability to create clear and concise training materials.

+ Knowledge of robotics and control systems is preferred.

+ Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Springfield, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
