Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. You will be responsible for communicating between shifts, conducting daily walkthroughs to identify facility needs, meeting with production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks, and installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems. Your ability to respond promptly to breakdown calls and log maintenance tasks will be crucial to our operations.

Responsibilities

+ Communicate effectively between shifts and within the maintenance team.

+ Conduct daily walkthroughs to assess facility needs such as compressors and HVAC systems.

+ Meet with production teams to discuss maintenance requirements and prioritize tasks.

+ Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.

+ Respond immediately to breakdown calls for reactive or corrective maintenance.

+ Complete and log all paperwork related to maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in maintenance repair and mechanical systems.

+ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to conduct preventive and conveyor maintenance.

+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and electrical maintenance.

+ Knowledge of blueprint and schematic reading.

+ Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and 3-phase electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Multi-craft experience in both mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe systems, and pressure regulators.

+ Knowledge of 3-phase motors, VFDs, and PLC systems.

+ A license is preferred but not required if the applicant has industrial electrical experience.

Work Environment

You will be working a 2nd shift schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime. Our facility is clean, organized, and temperature-controlled. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sheridan, Arkansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.25/hr.
