    Job Description

    Join our team as a C-Shift Packaging Operator, working from 6am to 6:15pm, Thursday through Saturday, with every other Wednesday. This role involves performing packaging tasks to prepare products for dispatch, operating RF scanners for warehouse tracking, and managing shipping and receiving functions. There is an exciting opportunity to advance to the Slitter Operator position.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform packaging of products to prepare them for shipping.

    + Operate RF scanners to track products within the warehouse.

    + Manage shipping and receiving functions.

    + As a Slitter Operator: read bills of materials, perform machine set-ups, and thread film into the machine.

    + Set blades to the proper width and program the machine for length, speed, and tension.

    + Set up leader tables for proper tapes, leaders, and trailers, and retrieve the proper cores from inventory.

    + Basic troubleshooting of the machine, including adjusting speed, winding tension, and brake tension.

    + Recover from film breaks by stopping the machine, cutting broken film, and re-threading machines.

    + Complete quality checks using calipers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in assembly, kitting, and packing.

    + Background in manufacturing.

    + Reliability and strong work ethic.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

    Work Environment

     

    The dress code includes steel toe boots, blue jeans or Cintas pants without holes, and a solid-colored shirt. Shorts are also acceptable. Work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility that ensures comfort throughout the day.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
