Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Production Workers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for pre-labeling bags, operating bagging systems, and ensuring product quality through precise weighing and sealing. You will have the opportunity to work with various machines, including panning machines, extrusion lines, and crunch lines, in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Pre-label bags and feed them into the bagger.

+ Understand and operate the bagger system software and perform light maintenance as needed.

+ Ensure filled bags are properly sealed and meet weight standards.

+ Operate panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, or work in packaging.

+ Mix, batch, pan, and pack products.

+ Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

+ Verify correct labeling is placed on boxes post-packaging.

+ Measure and weigh products into pre-made boxes with liners.

+ Mix ingredients by measuring them on pallets and pouring into blenders or conches according to precise instructions and documentation.

+ Operate machinery and use a pallet jack for assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operation, or blending.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prefer at least 6 months of manufacturing experience.

+ Food manufacturing experience is highly desirable.

+ Demonstrated drive to advance within the company.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean, well-lit food manufacturing facility. Employees must adhere to all health and safety guidelines and are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The work environment can be fast-paced with standing required for long periods. The facility is climate-controlled but can reach temperatures up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens. Shifts are available during the day and night on a 2-2-3 schedule, requiring 12-hour shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr.
