    Job Title: Shipping Clerk

    Job Description

    Perform quality work within deadlines, either independently or as part of a team. Interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, while effectively communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive goods via UPS/FEDEX/LTL, including removing skids from LTL trucks.

    + Verify product counts upon receipt and move them into inventory locations using ERP software.

    + Count and pick products from inventory using ERP software.

    + Move products to the press for production.

    + Maintain physical inventory counts and manage cycle and annual physical inventories.

    + Utilize UPS Worldship and FEDEX Ship Manager for small package shipping.

    + Prepare, manage, and store daily shipments via UPS/FEDEX.

    + Load LTL trucks for outgoing shipments.

    + Manage LTL pallets, including building, storing, and removing.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving.

    + Proficiency with ERP systems.

    + Ability to operate packing, picking, and pallet jack equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least five years of experience in a warehouse setting using shipping and receiving skills.

    + At least three years of experience with ERP or inventory software management.

    + Working knowledge of WIP, FIFO, cycle counts, and physical inventory.

    + Ability to perform repetitive duties for 8 hours in a fast-paced environment.

    + Capability to perform heavy lifting, overhead reaching, heavy pushing, climbing, and standing for 8 hours daily.

    + Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates in a manufacturing environment with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The role involves physical activities such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.

    This is a Contract position based out of Emmaus, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
