    Business Systems Analyst – Regulatory Reporting - Columbus, Ohio Preferred Location

    Position Description:

    Preference will be given to candidate located in Columbus and able to work a hybrid arrangement out of our Columbus, OH office. However, remote work may be acceptable if you are able to be in Columbus 1-2 times a month.

     

    Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for bridging business needs and technology? We're seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong experience in regulatory reporting to join our dynamic team and help drive compliance, efficiency, and innovation across our enterprise systems.

     

    In this role, you'll be the key liaison between business stakeholders, compliance teams, and IT, ensuring that our systems meet evolving regulatory requirements while supporting strategic business goals. You'll analyze complex data flows, design and optimize reporting solutions, and ensure timely and accurate submissions to regulatory bodies.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    . Lead and support regulatory initiatives related to 2052a, SCCL, Party-to-Party Master, and Collateral data

    . Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Data Governance teams to interpret regulatory expectations and translate them into actionable requirements

    . Create high-quality BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and data mapping documents

    . Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented and tested

    . Participate in system impact analysis, gap assessments, and stakeholder reviews

    . Support UAT and end-to-end validation for data and reporting processes

    . Assist in traceability of regulatory requirements across functional and technical layers

    . Monitor regulatory updates and advise on changes relevant to Category III classification

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    . The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge either in Single Counterparty Credit Limits (SCCL) / Party-to-Party Master Or 2052a and Collateral management, and be capable of bridging the gap between business needs and technology delivery.

    . 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the banking or financial services industry

    . Strong understanding of various Financial instruments related to Fixed Income and Derivatives products

    . Understanding of Dodd-Frank Act, Federal Reserve regulations, and Category II/III bank classifications

    . Demonstrated experience with regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., FR Y-15, 2052a, FRY-14a, 2090, CCAR-related filings is a plus)

    . Proficient in data mapping, data lineage, and working with data-intensive projects

    . Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills

    . Ability to work independently and drive clarity in complex regulatory initiatives

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50,800.00 - $154,300.00.
