    Job Title: Compounding Technician Job Description

     

    As a Compounding Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mixing ingredients according to specific formulations and recipes. You will perform precise weighing and calculations to ensure correct ingredient proportions, meticulously follow batch cards to prepare batches according to specifications, and operate and maintain compounding equipment and machinery.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform precise weighing and calculations to ensure correct ingredient proportions.

    + Follow batch cards meticulously to prepare batches according to specifications.

    + Operate and maintain compounding equipment and machinery.

    + Conduct product inspections to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.

    + Provide samples for quality control testing for the lab.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    + Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

    + Document all processes and maintain accurate records of batches.

    + Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and quality of products.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the compounding process.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.

    + Good communication and teamwork skills.

    + Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.

    + Ability to lift and move heavy ingredients and equipment as needed.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a manufacturing setting where you will wear a provided uniform. During the summer months, shorts are permissible due to heat. The company culture is rooted in a family-owned ethos, emphasizing hard work and play. You will work independently, requiring strong attention to detail as you handle expensive ingredients. The ability to perform calculations for product specifications and maintain comprehensive documentation is crucial. Interaction at various levels with straightforward communication is expected.     Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belcamp, Maryland.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
