Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description
This entry-level position is ideal for a mechanical engineer passionate about supporting product development for surgical devices. You will be involved in prototype building and testing, CAD design, drawing creation, fixture design and fabrication, and evaluating materials, suppliers, and processes.
Responsibilities
+ Update and refine product designs using CAD software, creating detailed drawings for manufacturing.
+ Engage in hands-on creation and evaluation of new device concepts through prototype building and testing.
+ Develop and fabricate tools and fixtures to support testing and development.
+ Select appropriate materials and suppliers for product components.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
+ Hands-on prototyping and fabrication skills.
+ Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
+ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
+ Internship or project experience in medical device or product development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles.
+ Experience with testing protocols and fixture design.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
