Job Description

A small geotechnical engineering firm in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for an EIT-level candidate who is looking to grow into a project management role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with field testing, including test pits and boring, and be comfortable writing technical reports based on their findings.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct field testing and data collection for geotechnical investigations

+ Write detailed engineering reports based on field data

+ Collaborate with team members to manage projects from start to finish

+ Perform geotechnical analysis to support engineering decisions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2–4 years of geotechnical engineering experience

+ Licensed EIT with a goal of obtaining PE

+ Ability to provide redacted examples of previously written reports

+ Experience in wall design is a plus

+ Knowledge of material testing, inspection, and concrete testing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $47.00/hr.
