    Senior Hardware Engineer, Pittsburgh, PA

     

    We are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to be a key contributor on join our R&D team. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in an independent environment and is passionate about solving complex hardware challenges.

    What You’ll Do

    + Lead board-level hardware design efforts for new and legacy product lines.

    + Apply deep technical expertise to troubleshoot, reverse engineer, and revitalize older designs where documentation or tribal knowledge may be limited.

    + Use creativity and intuition to connect the dots and uncover original design intent.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware designs into broader system architectures.

    + Take ownership of projects from concept through execution, with minimal oversight.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Extensive experience in circuit design and board-level hardware engineering.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for working through ambiguity.

    + Ability to work independently, with a proactive and driven mindset.

    + A creative thinker who can design circuits from scratch, not just refine or implement existing designs.

    + Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    Nice to Have

    + Familiarity with legacy systems and a passion for breathing new life into older technologies.

    + Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
