• Design Engineer

    Actalent (Freehold, NJ)


    Job Description:

    + Design and model streets, grading, and conceptual layouts.

    + Coordinate and prepare specifications, drawings, drainage reports, and data sheets.

    + Develop calculations, design documents, and permit applications.

    + Prepare contract documents including reports, plans, specifications, details, and cost estimates.

    + Ensure technical completion of civil project services within budget and schedule.

    + Gather information for engineering reports and technical studies.

    + Perform quantity calculations and check engineering data to ensure accuracy.

    + Review local ordinances and regulations.

    + Complete assignments on time and on budget.

    + Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, incorporating public engagement in the design process.

    Requirements:

    + 3-5 years of site-civil experience

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

    + Experience in stormwater management and grading.

    + Knowledge of water main and sanitary sewer system design.

    + Strong understanding of building and zoning codes.

    + Ability to perform drainage calculations and draft drainage reports.

    + Fluency with state stormwater regulations.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
