    Job Title: Industrial Engineer

    Job Description

    The Material Process Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing material handling systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective flow of materials within the production environment. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and process engineering.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop strategies for efficient material flow in production and warehouse operations.

    + Conduct flow analyses to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

    + Design layouts for conveyance systems, storage solutions, and workstations.

    + Implement customized packaging, storage, and deployment solutions to maximize space and efficiency.

    + Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to reduce waste and increase throughput.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.

    + Use analytics tools to assess performance metrics related to material flow.

    + Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

    + Lead material flow improvement projects, managing budgets and timelines.

    + Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source equipment and technology.

    + Ensure all material handling processes meet safety regulations and company policies.

    + Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.

    + Train staff on new material handling systems and procedures.

    + Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

    Essential Skills

    + Industrial engineering

    + Material flow

    + Process engineering

    + Engineering Degree is required

    + Experience working with the flow of materials throughout a manufacturing process

    + Experience working in a manufacturing environment for large, industrial products

    + Materials engineering

    + Manufacturing engineering

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related

    + 2-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role focused on materials/material introduction

    + Knowledge of 3D Modeling software; Inventor is preferred

    + Knowledge of lean principles and processes

    + Experience leading complex projects and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for industrial-sized product

    This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, Wisconsin.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

     

    • You are eligible to participate in the insurance plan on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.▪ You will receive 120 hours of Paid Time Off effective immediately upon hire. If you leave within the first 90 days of employment, any of these PTO hours that you have used will be recouped from your final paycheck.▪ You will receive seven paid holidays effective immediately upon hire. The seven paid holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.▪Culture of Care helps support the well-being of our team members and strive to create a supportive, inclusive, and healthy environment. Each full, part-time, and seasonal team member receives two hours of paid time off every month to use towards self-care, training, and/or professional health services.▪ Discretionary match is 50% of the first 6% of your individual contribution to your 401(k) retirement plan, regardless of whether your contribution are pre-tax, Roth, or a combination of both. You are eligible after 30 days of employment.
